Deciphering Toddler-ese
This afternoon while we were driving home from church, Elizabeth asked me to sing the "Kitty Takes a Bath" song. I had to think about it for a while, but the lyrics finally came to me. Any of my loyal readers want to venture a guess as to what song she wanted to hear?

I've been twisting those words around in my head all day. No luck. So when are you gonna tell us?
Well, no need to twist the words around. She really meant "Kitty Takes a Bath." As in:
"Kitty-kitty-kitty-kitty-wash-wash-wash-wash" :)
She loves that song right now, particularly when she gets to raise her hands for the, "HAIL to Camp Crestridge!"
Well of course that's the FIRST song that came to mind, but I was trying to make the words you wrote sound like something else! Good for Elizabeth---she's got her heart (and voice) in the right place!
I thought and thought about it, and couldn't come up with anything - only to find out that it is a song I've never heard! 'fraid we didn't sing a song about "kitty kitty wash wash". We just sang about moonshine and loose women!
("Mountain Dew" and "Ruby")
I meant to say "'fraid we didn't sing a song about 'kitty kitty wash wash' AT RIDGECREST"
