The Greatest Show on Earth

David and I took Elizabeth to see her first circus today. And not just any circus - the one and only Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey circus, aka "The Greatest Show on Earth." She had a fabulous time. We had great seats, and it was really neat to see her eyes get wide as she was taking it all in.



She loved all the animal acts - particularly the cute little trained dogs, but also the tigers and the elephants.



She also liked the clowns. But, she could have done without the "people" acts like the trapeze artists, gymnastics, etc. - although David and I both liked those.

We asked her what her favorite part of the circus was as we were leaving...she quickly responded, "The cotton candy."



Oh well....I guess some things never change!
