School's in session
Elizabeth has spent most of the week pretending all of her stuffed animals are going to "school" - with Ms. Elizabeth as the teacher, of course! She runs them all through a typical preschool day, which seems to focus mainly on snack/lunch and rest time. As shown in the picture, everyone gets to lie on a special "mat" (aka used coloring pages) at rest time, and she doles out the "food" (aka marbles and crayons) to each one. If they're good, they also get to hear a story. It's really neat to watch her imagination grow, and to have her be able to entertain herself more and more. But, this new game does tend to get a little messy if we leave her alone for TOO long, as she tends to want to pull out everything in her room for the students to play with!

I'm just looking at the time stamp on this post---4:24 a.m.???? And I thought I was up early (it's 6:28 now)!
You caught me - Elizabeth woke up with a bad dream at 4am this morning, and I couldn't get back to sleep!
